The JESF Foundation, Inc., does not collect personally identifiable information from individuals unless it is provided voluntarily and knowingly. 

If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide. 

Scholarship Applications – We collect your first and last name, email address, postal address, phone number as well as similar contact data. We may also request items such as your GPA, intended major, institution you currently attend or the one you hope to attend. We may also prompt you to explain your desire/reasoning for applying for our scholarship. 

Donation Submissions – We collect necessary data to process your payment should you donate to the foundation and its mission. Information includes your payment instrument number (such as a credit card number), and the security code associated with your payment instrument. We will also collect your billing address and contact information. All payment data is stored by our payment processor. How Do We Use Your Information?

We collect and process this information for purposes based on legitimate business interests. For example, your personal information may be used to respond to your requests or process your donations. The JESF Foundation maintains appropriate electronic and physical safeguards over our systems to prevent unauthorized access and/or use. 

Third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except in the performance of their services for the foundation relating to scholarship applications and donations. The JESF Foundation does not sell trade or exchange your information.
